Not a dream, just a ongoing nightmare.

Flames looked great at times tonight. Other times a bit confused.. The question on my mind, is how in the heck do we keep Cammalleri next year.

Buff is good test, I think they are a good team, they just happen to be in a very tough division.

I am looking forward to see how they do against the habs and hawks.

This team could almost be called the real deal right now. Lets see how the next 2 weeks go.

When do my slumping Habs play the Flames?

Geesh they came out like gangbusters against Tampa Bay in the first period and then folded like a cheap shirt for the rest of the game.

And as much as it pains me to say this, the Flames are looking pretty good right now but still think Detroit and San Jose are going to be tough to beat out west here.

Out east Boston just keeps rolling along but NJ and Washington are starting to flex a little muscle. Montreal is a dark horse unless Bob can get us a legitimate scorer. Vinny would look awesome in a Habs uniform! We have defensemen coming up like McDonough, Emelin and Subban but we need a player with some offensive flair. Kovalev has the flair but has no interest it seems most night again.

A little early to be making those kind of predictions considering there's over 30 games left. It's a little tough for Sundin to skate with his team during All-Star break when the team didn't skate. Did any team skate during the break? Not that I know of.

Come on Kanon.. Perhaps it wasent ROTFLMO funny, but I still smiled.

As for your next game, is it on TV? I actually want to watch what the reaction will be. I predict Edmonton with a much stronger showing. In fact I would even take them on sports select ticket.

I feel that a true fan is one that can admit when your team took a big steamer at center ice and the Mighty Oil sure queezed one off the other night. But I do have to agree with Kanon, that was a weak attempt at best. I would definately appreciate a good dig, but if that is the best they can do.....hmmmmmm

Yukon rants better than anyone in the bizz. I can't argue his points cause for a portion of the fan base he is dead on. Drives me crazy.

Kannon, that was butes.

We have Flame fans like that too, when not all is going well.

Rught now things are rollin for us so the wannabes come out to pretend they're the greast fans. What kills me was when we did do are run for the cup. The losers that jumped on broad just so they could be part of the RED MILE!!!!! Yes some of them stayed loyal from that point on. However there are some that are only fans down the stretch and into the playoffs. I laugh at these clowns.

I'm a fan of hockey period, may not the biggest out there, but still a fan of the game. I'm enjoying watching my kid play these days, more so then the Flames. There's just something that moves you, when your little guy does something new or makes a heads up play. in his last game he went behind the net for the puck, a race for the puck, As he got it he quickly thru it out front and got leveled by the D-man. The perfect set up pass as his centre was coming into the slot with the one timer. Seeing him make that pass was more gratifying then some of his goals. And if you saw him celebrating after with his team, you would of thought he scored it. Proud dad even though we lost the game.

OUCH!!!

Did they really start chanting "We want 10"

Now that’s ROTFLMAO. Sounds like the natives were angry at that game.

Why do they call this guy 'Yukon" is Edmonton still in fantasy land thinking they were the gateway to the Gold Rush??? Did you know not one person who actually left Edmonton for the Gold rush found gold, and that only a very very small handful actually made it. In fact I would guess they came through Calgary first. So Calgary should be the gateway??? I don’t get Edmonton sometimes.

Anyhow on a very positive note, Willy told me when last night when he makes the NHL, he will take me to Africa for a Lion hunt.
My bags are already waiting by the door
Cute kid. I wont be the one to crush those dreams. Life will do that for him.
He says though.. If he was drafted by Edmonton, he would quit and play football.
I said he couldn’t do that, and that I would immediately switch alliances and get a Oiler Tat on my butt.

Sounds like a heck of play by your Kid Mike. I also like the good plays. What I wish was around a bit more was the recognition of good plays by the other team. I don’t get excited when I see the other team doing something fantastic, but I do acknowledge it. Especially good saves.
You ever Video tape the games?
I was thinking I would like to do that. Just need a video camera. 2 would be nice as you could tape both ends.

Good link Kannon. You could probably insert the name of most sports teams in there.

In Calgary here what I've noticed since '95 is just how brutally 'bandwagon' the fans are. Of course there is a large contingent of diehards, but come playoff time, I honestly think that I of all people, am a bigger Shames fan than most of these clowns wearing their brand new jerseys and sporting 8 flags on their cars. Makes me sick.

Probably the same in Edmonton too.

Christ guys...
Who cares where the fans come from, as long as they buy the Jersey, come to the games and keep the excitment level up.
Both citys needed that playoff run in order to help keep our teams.
the excitment leads to more advertising, that is what runs these teams. Its the TV revenue, its the jersey sales, its the STUPID flags, Its the board revenue.

The more fans the better.. If not, we can both spell NHL with a "W"

IMHO the more fans the better. Lets not get snotty with our fellow fans. We end up sounding like a certain clown who was shown the door around here.
'If you dont go out hunting every day, YOUR NOT A REAL HUNTER"
And we all know what we thought of that Idiot.

Take care.. Go buy a jersey

Damn you Jamie!! How can I argue logic like that
And actually FYI Yukon didn't name himself cause of 'The Goldrush', his full radio handle is Yukon Jack.

I know I shouldn't believe everything I here on TSN sportcentre, but whatever, they were actually rolling pretty good until Sundin arrived on the scene, most team's skate during the break also, especially the one's that weren't in a Playoff Position before the break.

Tree, In 1980 when the Flame's arrived there were plenty of people on, and off, the "Band Wagon" but that's normal, I think alot of these on again, off again fan's, aren't really avid sports fan's they just get caught up in all the excitement, I don't see anything wrong with that. The one's that constantly switch team's are the one's I get a kick out of, I don't pay them much attention so it don't matter.

Black.. The wild will not win tonight.
You can bet $$$ on it.

BUT if ed gets beat again with another poor showing, you can look for HUGE changes in the organisation.
Either you have heart.. Or you dont.

Min is a team they can and should beat. If they loose this one.. OMG!!
You might as well gut the team and start all over.
