-7C last night and is currently

Insulated floor as mentioned above is a dream. Warm- Just like a regular house.
Actually more comfortable than my house’s hardwood on the feet and warmer.

Electric Space heater had the futon couch and bunk bed and building warm in an hour to normal room temp.

Woke up in the night and turned the heater down once and then unplugged it completely.

One thing to keep in mind is ventilation. I leave the slider window open 1-/8-1/4” open for ventilation. Condensation will show up and keeps things damp. I had minimal ice fishing stuff in with me last night to the bunkhouse ,but it always brings back some water vapour, along with coats, boots, etc. Making coffee in the morning isnt a real help either to control the water vapour.

I agree with ventilation, if it burns, it gives off water, outside of wood and electric. And there is nothing wrong with waking up in the morning refreshed. I agree with 220 Swift, that a morning cup of coffee, as good as it may taste, will never burn off water vapour.
