The Thursday news conference she was saying the province and feds need to step up and help our aging infrastructure. Never understood the why we waste so much money on frivolous things ^^^^^

More & more this story seems to be shaping up to be negligence. Cities in need to stop focusing on woke stuff/virtue signaling and get Back to Basics. You know, what tax dollars are supposed to actually pay for.

The people of Calgary elected that socialist fool, now they are suffering , just as all of Canada is suffering because of Trudeau. Vote wisely, and this can be avoided.

Squeaky wheel gets the grease?

I know what happens when my water system goes kaputz. There is level of government there with a cheque to help me get it back up and running.

If you look at the maps of the city water systems this is the single biggest line in the entire system, it essentially feeds 3/4 of the city from the main water treatment plant West of the city.

More than likely stupid luck although if one were planning on taking out the city water system this is the one pipe anyone with half a bran would do.

This summer Calgary has no water. Last winter the power grid could not keep up with the demand at 40 below. Woke management at its best.

Running water is white privilege.
You have so much white privilege, you can't even see it.

Being woke is a big factor in where you choose to spend your tax money . The woke waste money on non essential things, and then don't spend money on the essentials. When you ignore the essentials, things like this happen.

I had to pay to drill my own well and water system, oh the privilege lol!

Maybe the parade crew these days can be recruited to help fix the water breaks.

Default A Special Skill

The Mayoral brain trust has a special gift of being able to declare emergencies...

On day 1 Her Majesty called a Climate Emergency - how is that working out BTW.

This week she declared a Water Emergency - apparently the inspection done a few weeks earlier triggered nothing

What would it take to call a Leadership Emergency...asking for a friend.

We tried a recall vote, first time in Calgary history, she referred to it as a minor inconvenience. Same attitude shown by the federal wef puppets during the Freedom Convoy.

I'm assuming she was voted in with a majority?
Blame the idjits voting for these leftie whackos running for government. Or did the conservative voters not vote?

Any politician that attended WEF has a history of not looking after the constituents needs in each community. These politicians work for WEF, not us voters. Let’s make sure our infrastructure spending priorities are looked after first. Vote accordingly.

I wonder how much it's costing to erase a little more history by re-branding Fort Calgary?

Only when our so-called intellectuals believe that voting is not the solution will this continue. They are already using the essence of the democratic process, where the majority wins to their advantage, and yet everybody is still blind to it. Politicians are not elected because of their qualifications or because of your being a narcissist. It is a very simple vote count.

This is reality when an election happens here in Canada: The so-called intellectuals take their vacation, and whine later that they have best ideas on the keyboard. Opportunist bus people to the election booth to vote. Wake up, people.

If people don't vote they can't Bit..ch! Better yet if those who do vote, were actually informed about the people they are voting for, not just what the talking heads on TV tell them who they should vote for.!

Sadly just symbolic. And the arrogant currently holding their office know it. They'll be undeterred until either voting time, or they're tossed out by their collars and back of their pants.

Apparently, there's extra wide duct tape for that. Just back from Airdrie, they are affected as well.

I heard the news on the radio yesterday am, the dj was saying people had complained about these inane water restrictions yet golf courses are still using water as usual. The city's lie is that golf courses use recycled water not potable water. It was funny listening to the DJ, he kept emphasizing that he was told to read the story, in his tone of voice you could tell he wanted to scream Shenanigans. True to wef form, these rulers flat out lie to the public with complete disregard to us. As a footnote, Calgary has community lakes that are filled by the municipal water supply (Sundance also has its own well), they look full.

The water barrels are looking extra good right now.
Everything except the lawn is getting all the water it needs without using tap water. Mind you that is usually the case.
We're supposed to get some rain on the weekend so the barrels will fill up again, just in time.
