I've been shooting some groups and the mirage off the snow makes it interesting. New snow and sun warming up to close to 0 makes everything a bit trickier but it is great practice.

Good on y'all for giving it a try...remember, it's not over until you say it's over. It is just possible this is deceivingly more challenging than it seems and will take a few tries to figure out "the secret".

Expensive backpack

Toothy the Mexican Alligator “Pool noodle somewhere in boat?”

Handmade Christmas stocking, only handmade keeps all the magic in…

My favorite meatballs

Tactical twig only the one center punch.

Fairly decent for my first and only attempt.
All that time shooting off a bench must have paid off for filed positions?

No that’s from shooting off the twig

Rifle is a 6br with 1-8 benchmark.
Trigger Tech installed and while off a bench what feels like creep is what I believe to be lock time issues more dynamic shooting will have to take place. It just doesn’t feel fast not happy with twig group and it might not be my shooting causing that group.

I did read your description, I thought it was part of the presentation, a larger twig probably would have been better.

Here was my first attempt went ok. Was first time rifle was shot, built out of spare parts. Don't think the crappy weaver bases are sitting straight as the scope will not track on that rifle and will on the other gun it's normally on.

Load also has some verticle despersion, will adjust load and try again.

Good job Rob. What were the details on the "spare parts" ... I remember reading the build thread, but I'm getting old and forgetful. Thanks for that flomax recommendation, and I can return the favor by recommending Varget

Supposedly varget is not so good with the light bullets. Rem action, kelbys stock, Rem walker trigger, 20" 14.5twist barrel I believe it's a gaillard. 6br 58gvmax

Yeah that's the br all I've got on hand is some 58vmax, then next lightest is 75s I think they would be too heavy for that twist, although some guys claim they can get good groups with 80s and a 14 twist
