That gun looks scary.
It’s so short and looks like it could be held with one hand.

Twisted Canuck, you have the nicest handguns of any guy I know. What an excellent piece. I always love seeing your pics. Way more a work of art than the shiny metal balls on Whitemud or the abominations that Calgary calls art. Way to go.
Wish we could carry.
This is such a great thread.
Thanks guys for posting all the groups and descriptions of your guns.
I love it!!!

Yes, Shiny Balls should never be considered as art, agree. Especially in public.

Just going through my range bag, these are some of the .250" and better groups, all fired at 100 yards or meters with hunting rifles from 22 hornet to 300RUM. Most are three shots, but some are five shots. The smallest group of the bunch is an .080"group shot with one of my 300RUM rifles.

That's damn fine shooting Elk. I pulled off a 5 shot group that was 7/8" once with my 7mm08, and figured I better quit while I was ahead.

If I want to hit something at a mile, I would probably have to call in an artillery strike.
I'm always in awe of people who can shoot that distance. Good job Dmay

Outstanding shooting Dmay. I haven’t tried the one mile poke yet myself but I darn well know my group wouldn’t be that tight. Well done.

At first blush I thought this could be my best 10shot 300M group, but it fell short by 0.1 ...nevertheless it is pretty decent. Shot this morning through challenging mirage. My goal is to break the 1” barrier.

Not a group but a dad brag.
My boy hit his first 13 straight at trap last night. When he missed 14 he got a bit flustered but went on to shoot 19. Pretty good for a 10 year old. I have only had him out a few times so he does not have a lot of rounds in. Pretty proud of the little guy. He will be beating me before too long I am sure.

Gas Gun love!
Well this was all before our guns became safe queens..........
Shot with factory ammo in the wind and rain at 100. Not that impressive right? But here is similar groups shot by not myself out of the same gun - a testament that gas guns can shoot! All 5 round groups, out of a Black Leaf Industries BL10 -made in Edmonton by the studs at Black Leaf.
And I can't resist, but here is a snap of the rifle, pic shot by a good friend!

Bob ... Good to hear you’re going to do the retirement thing and have your priorities right, spending lots more days at the Range. Be great to have another “regular” on site with a thermos of coffee.

Well, I worked up a load for my new to me Ruger No.1A in 30-06 today. I had 180gr Barnes TTSX. As I was working up I was beginning to think this rifle did not like the Barnes. On my last 3 shots ...Bingo! 47.9 gr of IMR 4320. Sig Sauer brass and .5" group. I was happy to say the least.

Red Star
its great to see so many of those groups shot with Red Star Targets. Its a great company and a great guy owns it. Local to Alberta too. Worthy of our support as Alberta Outdoorsman.
A couple brag groups one with a 6.5X47L and the other with my 6.5 Creed (5 Shots)
Thought I would also post a link to Red Star for anyone who wants to buy some targets

Was actually thinking of building something specifically for paper and varmints. I figure I enjoy shooting, but maybe I need something new and shiny.
Problem is, don't know where to start here........but probably a small low recoil center fire my daughter would enjoy - like anything in the .223 to 6mm size. Something accurate and fun.

I have to give full credit to all the gents who have posted these crazy good groups. I shoot ok I guess, but there are some really great Shooters on this forum.
But, (and I am not being divisive like a Liberal!), just wondering if there are any ladies on the forum who can put up some groups and show us how they also can get it done? I know there are a couple or three at my ranges who can shoot the spots off a snake at 100.....we have seen some great shooting by youngsters on here, and would like to see more of that too. I know my daughter has kicked my pants shooting skeet with a beauty Remington 1100 LW in 20 g I got her.
This thread is for all the Shooters to post up, and I love to see participation from everyone.
