There is enough space in any cell phone or those pagers to place enough semtex or c-4 to take a guy's head off. The amount used in the pagers is just enough to gut you, or take off your dipstick if it was in your front pants pocket....so much for looking forward to 72 virgins.....

Have to admire the salesmanship of the people that pulled that off, if they managed to get to those pagers in production, and then sell them to Hezbollah on top of that. Has to be one of the more epic scams ever pulled. Good number of intel services around the world on their knees, chanting "We are not worthy!!" on that one.

Exactly! That took a lot of ingenuity, to actually sell bombs to terrorists, that later killed/injured them.

Then in Russia, Uke drone strike ( all of which which were shot down by air defense, falling debris caused a small fire) took out Toropets munitions depot, one of the largest and newest depots (2018) in Russia, "capable of withstanding a nuclear strike". They couldn't have hit it more perfectly. A 2.8 registered explosion on the Richter scale, have to see the shock wave off this hit to appreciate it, much like the Beirut harbor explosion, just not as densely populated an area, near Tver, windows blown out for quite a distance, maybe up to 20km

What's brilliant is, is that the pagers were given to the top of the brass in Hezbollah, the strategists and money movers with Iran/Syria. Also, those people don't let regular people in Labanon know who they really are and who they work with, but now... "Why the limp, or facial scar Achmed?" branded for life.

And now the walkie talkies... LoL, at some point it will be "Achmed, can you reboot the computers, and answer the phone?" "No, please, be my guest, the phone is closer to you."

I'd tend to say the batteries probably had little to actually do with it, maybe added some heat and possibly some poisons to the blast. From the sound of it this was a very intentionally targeted scam to start with, somehow they diverted the pagers, put something along the lines of Semtex or a component compound of it in there. Apparently at least some the pagers may have been around as long as 5 months, haven't seen anything much on the actual walkie-talkies yet, the toll is up in the 4-5K range of distribution now apparently. I wouldn't want to be the guy that suggested, or was responsible for buying those devices.

well now its solar panels exploding over there. guess all the electronics are loaded eh? whats next , pita ovens? good thing they all have nothing in common, like batteries. saw one theory that maybe one of the batteries was replaced with a lookalike explosive one in the pagers.
