goood shooting young wing I've taken afew and that looks like a real nice coat always carry a tag in the falll the fall coat is awsome

thanks for the comments, Im super happy with the hide condition. I've heard that younger bears grow longer hair for hibernation then larger bears to compensate for less body fat.

Great bear, great photos, Thanks for sharing! I remember my first bear shot thirty years ago like it was last spring. Always regreted not having any pictures of him so glad to see you didnt make the same mistake I did. Your rug will make a great trophy for years to come. Congratulations!

Right on Moose, thats an awesome first bear! Those big predators do strange things to me, I cant get enough!! Hey, the pics are great, and the bolt open on the rifle is pleasing to the eye as well, atta-boy!!!. Way to go Mr.

thanks, the scope I was using is a leopold m-8 4X. Apparrently also made in a 6X. An older model but it never needs readjusting so that guns always been reliable.

6 shots, 6 hits @ 250yards on a moving small bear with a 4x scope.
You should have entered the postal match.

Youve met my boy I believe, he to took his first bear this weekend,a nice black on a spot and stalk hunt. Lynx from this sight was a great help.
