I will for sure join in on the next one you guys do. How does it work?...so you each tie 10 flies and the host sends each person a different fly for the total of 10? I'm a little behind the 8 ball on this A newbie

jOrdo included a site with all the information required for the host and participants.
Warning to all: Try to minimize the size of the "little plastic box" you put the flies in for mailing. I used a small fly box (which of course I expect to be returned with some grand flies within) but was gobsmacked by the cost of mailing.

I will tie a mayfly nymph and because I have too much time on my hands, I will add a caddis emerger.

You are welcome, I just got into a groove tying
I dropped the flies off tonight, in the blue Rubbermaid bin (I'm assuming it is a Varagesale bin- my wife has one in front of our house too). Flies are in a white
envelope

Mine are done and will be in the mail Monday. These damsels don't look like much dry, but when they get wet, they really slim down and undulate like crazy on the retrieve. Fish them on a slime line over weed beds and the trout slam them like candy.

Go to the post office with the fly box in an unsealed envelope. Get them to weigh the package and buy postage for it to Calgary. Buy another lot of stamps of equal value, put them in the envelop and seal it. Then mail the lot off. That's the way I do it anyway.

Got side tracked this week, I forgot the wife had us committed to multiple holiday events. Anyway mine are tied and were mailed out today. It's a little pink shrimpy thing.
