Awesome Cat!

I was at the driving range today...couldn't see my golf ball past 150 yards.

i always wondered in Full Bore shooting at 1000 yds how the small less then 156 gr [regulation] bullets would stay supersonic at 1000 ? even though i enjoy long range with the luxury of a shooting bench / table i have lots to learn. Shot the Sierra 168 SMK's for years till i come across the 175 Tipped Match kings and not 100% sure if they are all their trumped up to be. still lots of fun reloading and shooting and the younger kids are telling me to park the .308 and get the new speedster 6.5 PRC.....

The 155 grain Palma bullets , the Sierra in particular, will stay supersonic without too much problems, in our rifles, but we use pretty much 30" barrels.
Even a 26 will make it "out there" however.
I have shot the 155 grain Hornadys out there with great success also.
At one time the 168 grain INTL hollow point match Kings were designed for 300 meter free rifle competition, and they did well until about 500 meters then things went bad.
They have since been redesigned and fly better at the longer ranges.
