I have noticed that a lot of rifles shoot to a lower POI the faster the bullet is driven.
I did this experiment with a ton of factory and handloaded 303 ammo, the same bullets would shoot lower the faster the velocity.
When I reached the velocity that the military ammo shot then the POI was to point of aim.
I know its less scientific than some of the posts here, but it seems to work that way, at least with the 303 Brit for me.
I don't think the left hand twist of the Brit has any bearing, but who knows for sure.
