Great Story I keep touch with a few of my landowner friends just to see how they are doing even though I most likely won't head back to that zone for a few years. Great shot as well!!

As a beginner I can’t help but mention how jealous I am of this story. Sounds like a good guy getting good luck. I like that he was determined to get that tractor up there, probably skilled on any motor vehicle.

Thanks for all the nice comments. Just thought I'd share for anyone interested was shooting 28 nosler Fierce CT edge, 180 berger @3100fps. Bullet performed as advertised small entrance, no exist. Zero meat loss.

There are stil some real gem landlowners out there. Was out last weekend for a mule buck draw. Stopped on a grid scoping a valley. Truck came up beside and asked if we were hunting. Said we were, as we had permission on one side of the grid. He said he owned the other side, and was about to move cattle in. He was checking gates, and said if he spotted anything he'd give us a call, and we could go in before he moved the cattle. Class people.

Here are a few more pics from Curly Bill's moose hunt. Always amazed at the size of a bull moose when it's skinned and hanging! Congrats again!
