Quit last summer, not paying that kind of money to kill myself, can do it a lot cheaper with other stuff.

I believe the taxes on loose tobacco was more than cigarettes. Pipe tobacco is ludicrous now too.

I have definitely noticed fewer teens lighting up their calabashes across the street from their high schools!

Tobacco addiction is up there with some of the other classic drugs ie difficulty quitting. The government permits the sale and taxes this product knowing full well that it is dangerous and addictive. They do not offer/fund free smoking cessation products to all smokers.

It would be interesting to see a class action law suit against the government.
