Way far west of Saskabush. Like 50 klicks from the Rockies west of there.
Could of come on a truck. When I lived on the island we had a rat living in my bbq. It was less then impressive. Had to buy new bbq because I wasn't gonna put up with that. When we were in France and Guam there was lots of rats. Had to have a charged fire hose to keep them away from the ship. Up here seems to be a problem of mice. Hate mice.
Make sure to throw that tooth brush out too lol . RATS !

Best thing about the roof rat is that they don't colonize like the norwiegen rat. Don't do as much damage and it is much easier to get rid of them.
