Last I checked, we don't use a lot of razor wire in rural Alberta... barbed wire on the other hand is pretty common and if a bylaw officer showed up here to give me hell for cross fencing without a permit...

Using a company from India to come up with Alberta land use bylaws!! Are these Reeves retarded? This is the problem with Alberta. To many laws.
Our Alberta advantage used to be freedom.
What does MD do? Basically maintain some gravel roads. Reeves should maybe get together once a month maybe to okay some building permits and that's it but no its like a full time job for them with endless bureaucracy. They should be looking for ways too downsize government. Not build it up.
Years ago if you were kind of slow and if you couldn't get a private sector job you could always go work for the government.
Now its just the opposite. Government jobs pay more than anything else on my rural area.
Most of these small rural towns would be bankrupt ghost towns if provincial government ever pulled out.
