I've got an M70 featherweight in 7WSM and it kicks about the same as a 30-06 I'd say.
It's not that terrible or punishing.
I know the Cabela's in Calgary has Federal Premium in 7WSM. Bass Pro also carries Federal Fusion in the 7WSM too.
Reloading is definitely the way to go and from my experience, it's not as finnicky as the 7 Rem Mag to reload for.
I was lucky enough to buy 5 bags of Winchest brass when Wholesale Sports was going out of business - got myself a good stockpile of brass for a while.

IIRC, I only had the one that had a binding mag box. When disassembled you could clearly see that it was rubbing but good.
