She's been a looong day off of Alberta hockey. Fans going stir crazy. Little Johnnies name being mentioned in the same sentence as McDavids on another thread. Good god. Johnnie would have a hard time picking up his jock strap.
And apparently +/- is a relevant stat again. Think both teams play tonight. Hope both pick up a win, mellow everyone out lol

Maybe not quite where the Oilers want them. Down 4-1 with 11 minutes left isn't the best strategic play...

Mcdavid is the 4th fastest to 400 assists. Gretz, Lemieux, and stasney
Tonight is Drais 9th 3 point game this year.

Default One game losing streak

Great bounce back game.

Glad to see they have their losing streaks under control and down to just one game.

Those 3 - 4 and 5 game losing streaks fans were accustomed to were sure tough to watch, especially when they played like crap and deserved the loss.

As a matter of fact it was REAL easy to NOT watch.

Man are they ever fun to watch this year

I'm REALLY just enjoying the ride right now, one win at a time.

And Draisaitl is the only Oiler, other than Gretzky, to score 40 points in under 20 games. What a beast.

Not sure I would call it a bounce back game, but it was a game they shouldn't lose. Good teams need to be able to beat the bad teams, and since Arizona has 10 points in 20 games (only 1 more then last place Ottawa, who has played 3 less games). This was not necessarily a must win game, but it certainly would have looked bad if this was the game that put them on a 2 game losing streak.

You should worry more about the Flames "bouncing back" and beating the Oilers than what the Oilers did vs Phoenix.

Tonight’s game is going to be a goaltending battle. Putting in Skinner would of been wise. Both teams let in lots of goals. Not playing Quick and Skinner is interesting. If Either team can tighten up their defence…that would also be key.

Plus if McDavid and Draisaitl put on another show… that will help.

Stats wise the teams are fairly close. Edge definitely to Oilers… mainly due to Oilers killer PP.

Nope. Brain fart. Lehner has a good save percentage. I was thinking that was smart using Lehner as he will be facing a lot of shots.

Oilers excellent penalty kill and Kostenin is on fire.

Hyman!! Fantastic and wasn't to be denied. I think if you get into Lehners head and make him owly, he gets off his game
