He is getting smarter and should be a norris candidate in the next few years just not yet. His goals are down but assists are up. I have noticed his lack of big booming shots from the point. He is figuring it out that it is better to just get the puck through rather than try and blast it through the end boards. He used to fire 3 shots or more before hitting the net. now he hits it most times and is leaving rebounds for the forwards. He is learning.

Yea I didn't mention him either because I think hes having a lousy year imo. Hes lacking the grit and hes gettn burned a little to often for my likeing. The guy plays better with an edge...sure he'll make a dumb mistake doing that but it makes him all the tougher to play against

While watching last night's game I came to the conclusion there are girls working at the ranches outside of Vegas who have seen less rubber than the net behind Kipper!

I counted 15 good scoring chances for the Flames last night, Desert dogs had 6 or 7 and scored 4 times. Flames still should have won, but they just couldn't finish. Just that bad goal on kipper.

Well that might be a good thing then, Kipper almost always comes back big after a loss...

They want big numbers for Vinny. From montreal they want Markov, Plekanic, Higgins and numerous first round draft picks it sounds like. not sure if Vinny is worth all that but would love to see him in the bleu, blanc et rouge!

Too bad so many of you watched the Avs light up the Shames, cuz you missed another class production by the Oilers. Raising that Flame killer Glenn Andersons #9 to the rafters. Good ceremony and not too overdone, then a freakn great game vs the 'Yotes...Mareau with the Hatty and Hemmer with 2 in his first game off the IR......makn that push for 5th

GO OIL

Black, sorry, I should have been more clear. I was refering to our back up sittuation.

As for the rest of the team... I am thinking we will stand Pat.
DION will not be leaving.
