Six points for Johnny tonight, great to see the Killer Instinct as well, no let up. They needed this for sure.

And, another goal. 9-4 now. Fantenberg.

I'd like to take credit for that, alas I likely can't.

Great 3rd period.... but being down a goal going into the 3rd against a team running about 40% AHL players is not good. And in all honesty Rittich looked shaky in the 1st and 2nd period. I don't think the Sharks, Preds, Vegas, or Jets are going to let you back into a game like that. The Rangers should be a win on paper so I think the Flames need to bring it on Saturday against the Jets to really get the team going. Win that game and I think you will finish 1st in the West.

Shaky?? Did you watch what I watched? I saw some monster saves along with some lucky goals and perhaps one he wishes he had back. No, not SHAKY.. Not ALL WORLD but he was ok.

I agree about Sat night being big. I still am not convinced on first place though. Makes it interesting to watch.

Just lulling the league into a false scenes of security is all, and sounds like it's working. You wouldn't understand. LOL
Yeah Sat against the Jets is the biggy for sure. I agree though come playoff time we can't get soft mid game like we are doing currently.

Just looking at the Sharks salary cap situation. They could be a vastly different team next year. Their UFA/RFAs include:

-Logan Couture, making $6M, UFA, has 37 goals;
-Joe Thornton, making $5M, has 42 pts;
-Gustav Nyquist, making $3.325M, has 53 pts;
-Jonas Donskoi, making $1.9M, has 34 pts;
-Timo Meier, making $894k, has 59 pts;
-Kevin Labanc, making $717k, has 47 pts;
-Erik Karlsson, making $6.5M, missed alot of games, but will get paid.

I could see most of those guys, with the exception of Thornton due to his age, getting significant bumps, Couture at $8M, Meier to $6M, Karlsson to $12M, etc. and they currently have $2.2M in cap space. Projected cap space for next year is just under $22M, but I could see Couture and Karlsson taking most of it, assuming Karlsson sticks around, which I'm not sure he will.

Rittich vs Alexandar Georgiev.

I'd never heard of him. Second year in the league, played 10 games last year, is 23, this seasons stats are as follows:

GP: 26, W: 10, SV%: .907, GAA: 3.03, and SO: 1

Second game since the 6th March. He was in net against Edmonton, SA% of .909.

Rangers are 2-3-5 in their last ten and are 25th in the league. I'm hoping for a similar outcome to our last game.

Rangers have lost 8 of 9, but took the other teams to OT or shootout 5 times. I don't think it will be a walk in the park for the flames, but would be great if the momentum kept going.

Are we starting to see that Rittich is our number one guy AGAIN?
Timing says yes, who we are playing says no. I doubt they run him in back to back games. Winnipeg should be a much harder game. Possible semi final match up as well? (Not counting chickens yet, just thinking.)

Seen an interview with Peters and sounded like Smith not feeling 100%, little ill, but will back up. Interview was pretty funny actually reporter asked something about top D pair being off when we won 9-3. Peters had a pretty good response.

Keep him away from everyone else so he doesnt spread the sickness around!

I kinda want to see what a Smith not at 100% plays like... like a bad science experiment.
