Now that was a dominating job by McDavid.

Two defensive breakdowns resulted in goals. Still time to work on D.

Jumped the Kraken in the standings last night and still have 3 games in hand on them, great to see a 6 game W streak going, they have ground to make up after their dismal start

Another good effort, last wild card spot so they can smell the coffee

They need to keep playing this way

All those noisy kids from the first 6 weeks of the season have been pretty quiet in these last 6 weeks. Weird.

100%

Chicago had the better scoring chances all night long. In October, they lose that game 4-2.

I'm really disappointed in Knoblauch for not challenging that goalie interference call. There's really nothing to lose, and it shows confidence in your team. If you win, it's game over at 3-1, if you lose, the league's worst power play gets a chance to tie it. It seemed like a very winnable challenge to me, and even if I thought it was a 50/50 bet, I'd take it all day, every day.

The offside call on the disallowed goal was BS too. I totally agree with McDavid, if it's that close, and it was called a goal on the ice, then that's how it should stay. Fractions of a mm on a zoomed in camera angle from Toronto was never the intention of the video review, it was to fix the really obviously bad calls.

Despite playing one of the worst games I've seen them play since October, they really should have won that game by a 4-1 or 5-2 score. Hanging on for the 2-1 win is impressive in itself though.

They better get on their horse down 1 - 0 and killing a penalty on a very very weak goaltender interference call

They did it all right tonight, and kept at it to beat a firecracker hot goalie. Full value. In days gone by, frustration would have set in. Nurse has a knack for scoring big goals in overtime. His skating really shines with the open ice. Great win. Can we get 10???

Caught the kings fast but can’t gain on the kraken. Think today was their 9th consecutive win.

^Yeah, pretty much. That’s three games in a row they’ve played like crap. Poor efforts and luck that they pulled off the last three victories.

Well, they were against lower, less skilled teams. But if they don’t pick it up effort wise, the better teams will eat the Oilers for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

So even when they play below their capabilities, they are still able to win.
That’s incredible!
This could be the team of the century.
Just amazing.

The comments in here never disappoint. 18-3 on a 10-game win streak and still no shortage of the "they better shape up" guys and insecure Canucks fans.
