I'd call him a Manchurian candidate, but I didn't want to insult any Manchurians.
It's about what you'd expect from him.

Great seasons. Looking forward to the draft and the off season moves.
Hopefully Holland has a really good idea of what needs to get done to go even further next year.
Thanks for the laughs and friendly banter, I sure in will resume in the Fall.

Oh well it's all over but the crying, actually no shame in making the final 4, a few off season moves and who knows.
Doubt we will ever see Kane in an Oilers jersey again which is to bad he helped a lot down the stretch.
The Av's are just to strong, dominated us in every area of the ice just like we did to the flamers.
Good thing trap shooting season is upon us now I have something to occupy my time, we'll get back at in the fall.
Chow for now boy's and girl's you all have a great summer.

Stay classy....
Ohh well settled up with Bess no harm done, was just getting him all worked up like Oiler fans can be from time to time, all in good fun, next season I will bet prior to a game but I tell ya something and seen it late in the third this season oilers down a goal and 5 minutes left and the conversation was oilers win by one....two quickies and a hundred bucks went from one hand to another
All in good fun.
Nurse had a torn hip flexor....dam I did that twice and just to lift the leg was agony now get tossed into a playoff game....dam eh
the quest for the cup can be quite the venture.

Best season we've seen since 2006. Nurse and Drai were hurtin big time. They've learned a lot this seasons adversary. Sign Woody to a 3 year deal, get Kane 7x7 years plus bonuses. Put him on the top line. Kass and Kosk gone.
The cherry on top this season was kicking the flames to the curb.

Great season wtih both Calgary and Edmonton having good regular seasons, with good games between them added a nice layer to the fan excitement for this year. Both teams wining their first rounds, a BOA and a team moving onto the final 4. Nice.
Now let's see what the GM's do over the summer and through this next year to get these teams to the next level -- Oilers first please.

A healthy Draisaitle would have had a huge impact too
So many variables come into play to go deep into the playoffs
That’s why it is the hardest championship to win

Ya! Holland showed he’s smart and calculated when Smith was as good or better then the goalies he passed up in Markstrom and keumper.
Interested to see what he can come up with over summer to improve the team
Then there is Woodcroft. He guided this team from being out of a playoff position to the final four taking over mid season. He has coached the pipeline so knows the prospects better then any Oilers coach in years. Give him a full year with this team and if he can get results like he did with half a year it’s going to be exciting.
Who knows what next year will bring but this team is in a better position then it has been in years the way it looks to me.
Go Avs! They played exceptional and hopefully they show the eastern team up as well. That way the Toronto media will be a little less obnoxious 😂

The boys skated hard and battled hard but with goaltending like that for your ticket to the Stanley Cup....not a chance. Smith is a joke, so inconsistent. Couldn't stop a beachball at the best of times. PUNT

Yes Holloway played in a Conference final before Auston Mathews or Gaudreau 😂. Do you think Mathews wants a trade? To bad Toronto is wasting his prime years😂. Toronto management was looking pretty poor with both Hyman and Kadri having exceptional playoff performances. But Tavares for $11 million/year lol could have kept both kadri and Hyman and had money saved.
Nurse had a torn hip flexor all play offs I was reading.

Team D-Fence and secondary scoring needs to improve not goal scoring. Get Kulak, Yamo, and Mcleod re-signed. Move Kassian and Pool Party. Try to get another 4/5 D-man and a depth goalie.

Oilers
As was mentioned before, they need better goaltending. That should be priority
# 1 on the to do list. Avalanche able to win with their backup so if both goalies in Edmonton have to be replaced it makes sense to do it.

I figure there is about the same chances as me skating for the Oilers next year as Kane. They simply can't fit him with their cap situation, need to sign 8 players with about $7M. Maybe, maybe Holland can move Barrie, Koskinen, and Kassian along, I doubt he'll be able to move all three, but lets say he does, then you need to sign 11 guys with $17M. If Kane takes $7M of that, then you're trying to sign 10 guys with $10M, and one of them is presumably your starting goalie.
