I will gladly take the motorcycle jack, and put it to good use if it has not been spoken for.

Looks like he has a way to get it down there in December, but if something happens, it's yours.

Still have this up for grabs. I can take a better photo if anyone is interested.

I would prefer a local claim, or the AO pony express. I'd rather not ship due to the glass. Would look great with a recycled lumber frame.

You bet, I'll stick your name on them. Did you want all 4 boxes, or just 2 of one kind, 2 mixed, etc...

Ok, did a little digging and found a couple more items to put up

First up is a bigarse tow strap. 15' long, 6" wide. It's seen some use and is definitely showing some wear, but I'm pretty sure I could still vertically lift my truck with this thing if I wanted

Next is a Rapala TS2 jigging rod with a 2500 size Diawa Regal reel. Pretty sure I have a spare spool for the reel somewhere around here too.

Again, will deliver/meet up in the Edmonton-ish area

First item is two used Diawa Sweepfire 1000B reels. I just took them off two ice fishing rods and would be great for trout and perch duty. They work fine, however the drag no longer clicks on either of them when line is being taken. Both have 6lb Berkley NanoFil on them.

Reels are still available

I will gladly take the TS2, if you still have it Jay.

I also have a BEAR whitetail hunter bow, in great condition, was inspected in October, no arrows, also have an old 1978 XL250 Honda enduro, with a great engine and transmission, rest of bike is rough.

Exclamation

I will likely begin the Charity event next week, it looks like we have a full head of steam and a lot of interest, with some Auction items coming into play.

I have encountered some issues though with the current recipient. None of the Moderators have volunteered to hold the money, I have been told not to hold the money, and was not real fond of the idea anyway, and there is always the issue of who picks who get the money when disaster hits.

We have a couple options.

I can open a bank account and get another member that is local to Lloydminster to become co signer on it, needing 2 signatures. I was thinking Clay at Prophet River and myself, but I have to ask him.

If someone experiences a disaster, THE PEOPLE THAT GAVE MONEY will decide if they get it. Anyone that did not contribute will not have a say.

OR,

We go with the runner up, the Calgary Childrens's Hospital, in which case I will have to contact them and see if they will allow us to give to them. The Stollery had very strict guidlines about this exact thing, they likely do too.

I do not want to make this decision alone, you guys that are going to be giving contributions decide.

Please say below

"I want the recipient to be:"

either AO Emergency fund or Calgary Childrens Hospital.

If it can not be decided I will use my vote and we will go with the runner up.

I would happily take that XL250 off your hands.

Thanks

For ease and convenience Calgary children's hospital.

The emergency fund is a great idea but too many variables.

Ken..i like the Calgary Children's Hospital...i don't mean to sound like i don't care about people here as i do care..but i was not to fond of the emergency fund either..as you all know if somebody is in need we all here have helped out anyway with whatever we could...i know you said to just say i want the recipient to be either of the two..but i just wanted to put things into perspective here..we all have a big heart when it comes to a fellow AO member in need anyways..I hope what i say is not taken the wrong way..i do care about all of you and would help out anytime for anybody. Just my thoughts here...

My contribution will be pulled, not to sound like I don't care about the Calgary hospital but I would rather support local, that being the Stollery. I will still give $100 to the cause if it's the Calgary hospital.
