I have never had the opportunity to try morels yet but we get to pick these awesome tasting Fungus, with all the rain and the sun today they where popping up all over the prairie

Yes they are tasting good. I found them once in the grassland by the MacGragor lake 3 weeks ago.

But it is pretty hard to find them in and the surronding Calgary area because most of the grass land are surronded by the metal wire fence. I can not figure out which one is the public land and which one is the private land.

Where do you find yours? In your private land?

Too bad I am in the city . They other day I tried Nose Hill Park, and there were no mushrooms but a lot of hungry mosquitos
