Cool WHITE Bear

Well tonight I went for a bear cruise seen 2 6foot blacks than a couple miles later I spotted a lump of stubble that looked out of place. So I glassed it and wow it's the lightest color bear I have ever seen it is blond to White. So I put a stalk on him I got to about 100 yards packing my black powder centered the crosshairs on his sholder whamo. After the smoke cleared all I could find was hair. It got dark fast I didn't look real hard. I sure hope I can find it in the morning.

Having issues getting photos up but I never found the bear or any blood followed his tracks for over 800 yards. Kind sucks but I guess I just give him a hair cut. No more black Powder for me only real guns lol.

I was huntin bighorn sheep out by Abraham Lake when my friend and I saw a little black bear. He was about 500 yards off just above the tree line but as he walked around the crest of the mountain we noticed he had a white stripe on his back. When he turned slightly before going over the crest it looked as if his whole rear right leg was white, to this day I wondered if the bear was black on one side and white on the other? We tried to find the bear to get a better look but could not find him. Kinda wish I had a rabbit squealer.

Default Enough Already

Quit playing around huntin & post up some pics so we can all celebrate your success. Only a damn fool would come on here & announce to the world how he wounded & didn't recover one of Alberta's rarest trophys.

I wish I could post pics of the bear but I just can't I spent probaly close to 7 hours walking the bush and fields around where I shot the bear. He crossed a halfsection of wide open field I followed his tracks in the mud across a drainage and kept going through the next field. Pretty sure I never touched hide as I never found blood only hair. He went through some thick willows and grass where blood would have brushed off. So I guess all I can hope is that I meet up with him again dome day.
