Default Gopher Hunting

A buddy and I went out gopher hunting with our bows today. What a hoot. Here are a couple pics from the day.

Buddies first of the year

Made a canoe out of his head

Head shot

Hope you enjoy the pics. Can wait to head out tomorrow for a couple hours.

Joe

My new neighbour's pasture was infested. I offered my services and shot 134 gophers in 2 hours and 15 minutes, plus 1 cowyote. A personal best.

Default gophers

Went out gopher bowhunting with my wife today. We each got three it was so much fun. It was so nice to shoot at a live target again.

That point on his arrow is called a "Judo" point. I have used those for grouse many, many, times.....

was thinking of going to pick up a new .22 and do some spring gophers, but seeing the bow makes me just want to get out and tinker with the bow, will hit the lanes tomorrow night, and probably head to the gopher field on the weekend, see what I can tear up.
