Default moose hunt

I have a moose hunt booked with my dad and. I will have the calf tag, Im going to be shooting my 30-06. I have 4 boxes of winchester's 180 power point which ive been using on deer, shoots well out of my gun, winchester's sight has this listed for antalope, whitetail and such but also elk moose and brown bear, in the 30-06 category. do i need to change my choice of ammo?

Been using 180 for years, taken moose and elk, don't change, especially if your rifle likes them and good luck.

I have been using 180 grain (Fusions) in my 30-06 for years on everything from coyote to moose...

Default 180 gr

Just shot a Elk with a Winchester 180 gr Power Point out of my 300 and found the bullet in the hide. It impressed me big time. For cheap shells it expanded very well and kept the core intact. Preformed flawlessly.
ThanksCurtis

Nope. Won't work. You need .460 Weatherby Mag as a minimum. 50 BMG would be a safer choice.

I'd bet that 80% of the moose killed in the past 75 years were killed with some load of .30-30.
