Default Help!

I recently received my PAL and my grandfather has a.22 and a 12gauge that he would like to give me. Now he had his PAL but forgot to renew it. How would i go about aquiring these firearms the right way? Ill be doing some phoning around later to find out. Just wanted to see if anyone could help.

Thank you

Are the guns registered? Even if they aren't I don't think it would be a big deal to register them, in fact it might even be easier. I registered an old Cooey from the father inlaw couple years back that he never registered. It was too easy, just phone up CFC 1-800-731-4000, they are usually pretty helpful. In the end they are getting what they want a licensed owner with a registered firearm.

I've registered a couple of rifles from my father in law too. They were never registered. I don't think he even had a licence. Just call the CFO office and tell them they are inheirited. I had no issues.
