Default 410 sheep

Finally got drawn. Now it feels like it will take for ever for November to get here. This is the most excited I have ever been about a draw. My Father shot a nice ram in the 80's with his recurve, so hopefully I can follow suit. Only I will be taking my bow with the training wheels on it. LOL. Haven't been shooting my recurve enough to be comfortable with it. Either way, I have 3 weeks to hunt down there, so hopefully I am successful.

Default Congrat on the Draw

Good luck - a sheep with any weapon is a prize. Are you sure you can't bear down and practice to get it done with the recurve?

Sheep are hard as hell with a rifle let alone with a bow (experience with uncles hunting, not me).

Good luck, don't forget to post photo's

Bought myself a pretty good video camera yesterday, so I'm hoping to get some footage.

I'm in the same boat as far as not practicing enough with the recurve. Gonna be a compound kind of year. Good luck with the sheep hunt, you'll have a great time I'm sure.

What are your plans for accomodations up there? Are you camping or staying in town?

We will be camping. I have a small light weight 8x10 wall tent that I will pack in.

Good stuff! Look for my green tipi and stove if you're around!
