Default Browning A-Bolt in 260 Rem?

Anyone seen one of these around? I don't know that Browning chambers this caliber anymore, can't seem to find one, but if I'm not mistaken they did??? Thanks for any info.

I think your right about the quote Dick, but do you really think I posted without looking into it a little, particularly going to an obvious easy answer like the Browning home page? So after "helping myself" and not finding the results, I though there might be someone on here who might have some intelligent answers.....rather than remarks as to if I have looked into things myself.

If you have found on Brownings site where they have a rifle chambered in 260, please let me know. I have searched the site and did not see any that were offered, perhaps I missed them??? If that's the case, great, my mistake, but I didn't see them there.

Thanks Dick. Helpful. So it appears that Browning does not make a .260. There ya go RUM.

The current Browning website is probably a smart place to look, if you're interested in current products, however I don't know if it lists past products. I don't think the sarcasm is warranted considering it wasn't particularly relavent to the question.

I think its worth asking around since I'm sure they must at one time had the A-bolt in 260. Check out this link, if it works, halfway down they list a-bolt micro hunter calibers, for light weight rifles, but at least its a start.

If you got one you could call it dumb and dumber.

I've owned both and will never own an A-Bolt, or a rifle chambered for the 260 again.

Ha! I like it Chuck! Although gotta say I sure like the A-Bolts I own, to each their own.

Thanks for the link Prospector, I'll take a look there. Must have been some produced at some point as you can get the a-bolt clips for the cartridge.

Caber

Either one, but looks like new isn't an option from Browning any longer. So if I could come across something lightly used that would be good, preferably in something other than the Micro Hunter.
