Default muskrats

Just curious if anyone is having goodluck with the muskrat population this year? First year ever had them come to the house. Woke up to my walker/coonhound goin crazy to find a muskrat standin off to it in her 3gallon water dish in her 15x15 kennel lol. Counted 58 muskrats in my slough an 5 beavers.

i'm not doing to bad i'm up to about 60 or so but the low water this year has really hurt the trapp'n, alot of there houses are way above the water line and have been abandoned.

we had good water over this year but the sloughs I had my horses in well...Horses destroyed push-up after push-up everytime they found it. but got the trapper got 14 one day an he says leave the others to breed for next year. Lots of rats around that heinsburgh area though.
