Default Total Changes to the Regs

I know there is no way in hell this would fly, I'm just interested in peoples reactions to the idea.

What would everyone think if they were to change the entire regs, to the following.

All Waters Open Year Round
All Waters Catch and Release
All Waters Bait Ban

Thoughts? Ideas?

Keep it civil please folks.

Default One Question

How long have you been institutionalized or a card carrying Peta

member .These types of posts only serve to marginalize and work

on the old theory of Divide and conquer. It is part of the Peta

mandate to infiltrate all hunting and fishing associations , blogs ,

forums etc. To cause derision among their members . That is why

not only do we need a sticker to identify but a secret AO handshake ..

Just another of the daily evils we have to guard against ..

Well, I can see that your proposal would simplify thngs, but it seems to me that the fish habitat conditions of all bodies of water in Alberta are not the same, so it makes no sense to have the same rules governing them all. I trust SRD (or at least it should be their job) to know which fish stocks need special protection and which don't.

This would be like changing the traffic laws so all roads were the same speed limit. Every situation is different and should therefore be managed differently. I say keep putting in the legwork and deciding what is best for each individual body of water. We owe it to the sport to shy away from this kind of laziness.

Sounds good. I'm in as long as they ban rifles as well. Only bows and crossbow for hunting.

Hey guys.... especially winch... just looking for your thoughts... like a poll. Sure as hell wasn't a petition. I keep my limit of Walleye every summer too. Not a Peta member.. never will be. I'm not the guy walking around circles outside the local KFC. I trust that the current regs are the best balance. Not trying to change the world ... just curious to what the respones to changes might be.
