Sorry, I'm in Calgary. I've been to most of the lakes south east and some north. My best days out are at pcr for ling but would love a big pike. Thanks.

Try Travers, go in the corner of the dam in 6-12 feet of water... Have your bait 12" off the bottom.... Lots in the 6lb range with the odd one pushing 20.

good rod choice most of the reservoirs in Southern Alberta have big pike. if youve been to PCR turn the other direction towards Stavely and go up the road to Clear Lake. Lots of pike in there, including some really big ones.

If your referring to the far side of the dam away from the canals, that spot turns deadly for big Ling in the evening. FYI.

Thanks 4 all the info guys. I'm new to this whole computer thing and I will try to keep up with pics and good spots. I got a 20 lb pike at trav in the north cove may 8th last year. Probably no good in that cove now eh?
Ill try by the dam at trav again maybe saturday.
Clear lake has been real slow until some small ones lately(northwestside)
Anybody having luck at twin valley?

Just keep trying to catch the pike. Eventually, you will have a trip for the year. There are no secrets, just experience.

I agree, the right lake makes a world of difference. Good Luck.
