Really sad news. Eugene showed me how to find morel mushrooms. I gathered that he was a very good hunter, not interested in horns too much, more about the meat and the experience. My life has been enriched by my short time spent with him

Your father is a good and honest man. Had the privilege to deal with him. A very generous man to deal with

I never spoke to your father a day in my life but he is one of the names that I automatically think of when I log onto AO. His knowledge and great stories are book worthy. God speed Eugene. Please do not hesitate to reach out to the AO community here if you and your family need anything! He touched us all.

Please say goodbye from Nate and the gang down south. Your Dad was a special man with a wealth of knowledge. I greatly enjoyed our phone calls and email conversations. My prayers are with you.

Sad to hear this, I don't come on much over the weekends so just seeing this now. Red will forever be in the group of posters that made a difference here with his stories and history posts. If he is able, you should read these responses to him, I bet he will recognize a lot of the names.

I hope when his journey to the heavens comes, it is a peaceful one. Take care.

That is sad news. Although I never met him I did print off the post he made in sept 2022 'Standing on the Edge of Time'. It's been stuck on the wall above my tool box ever since he wrote it. If I ever feel a little lost I read it. Thank you Red Bullets.

The sticky suggestion was made to us by you guys , we passed it on to Admin as it was his call, so Kudos to Admin. And thankyou to Red Bullets for the gift.
