Par iii
I have some PAR III and it's been around for a while? It's been stored inside etc. but I am just wondering if it's worth using? Info I have found says 2-3 years shelf life. Let me know your thoughts. TIA

It will have a mfg date stamped in black on the jug.
Ive used 6 year old Par 3 on the lawn at the farm and it was fine. It was stored in the heated shop the whole time. I used a big backpack sprayer that time and i didnt have any particulates clog the screens or anything like that. Killed the weeds too

As long as it hasn't froze it will be good.
That seems pretty weak for a mixture. I'd use closer to 250ml for that amount of water.

It used to take 4 or 5 years to use a Jug of Par3 when I was in Calgary. Stored in lightly heated attached garage, worked fine till it was time for a new jug.

MountainTi Sorry yes that's WEAK. I was planning 200ml/10L. Will give it a try in a week as just letting some overseeding happen. Thanks

If you are spot treating, 200ml Par 3 per 10L of water.
If you are general spraying grass, it's 55ml Par 3 to 3L water.
If you just seeded, give it a week or 10 days before you hit it with Par 3

Mine has been frozen many times over and still snuffs out dandelions.

My 10 L jug has frozen to - 50 C, and freezes year after year, and is pretty old. Still knocks the weeds down nicely!
Just remember it takes a few sprays through the season on the dandelions as the seeds from the first generation of spring blossoms are just getting started and will emerge in a few weeks to bloom again.

I froze some and it formed many larger .5 inch square crystals... Didn't work after.

Weird. I have frozen roundup, trillion amd grazon that were stored at the farm in an unheated shed, and I have never had it affect the consistency or effectiveness. That is a really interesting outcome.

Shake the jug really good before you mix it up. Should be fine.

Last bit of 3 year old jug
Few weeks ago was a bit less effective than what i consider normal but it still curled them. New jug of another broadleaf spray rolled between trees finished everything off.got another batch ready to roll as soon as rain clears out. Told alternating 2 broadleaf sprays is more effective.

I have a jug of Trillium and it must be 15 years old. Probably have never shaken it. Sprayed my dads lawn last week, he had some noxious weeds and some dandelions. All were curled the next day. Stuff still works!
It is kept in a heated garage, and most of the time it is just barely above freezing temp in the winter.

Be careful with that stuff around flowers, gardens, or fruit trees. The smell of the 2,4-D alone is enough to twist up and nuke desirable vegetation!
