Annealers
Lots of creative designs of the various annealers with dual torches and gadgets like rotating turntables , putting case in a socket , spinning with dril etc. . I have never used the AMP induction annealer , have heard just get it , big $$ but buy once cry once. A lot of fine shooting and World /National records before the AMP came along.
What works for you that didnt break bank ?

I just get mine done locally, 10 bucks for fifty. At my age it doesn't make sense to buy a machine. I believe she has the amp machine.

Lots of choices and just about they same amount of opinions on annealing as well.
I went with an EP Integrations unit. I like the simplicity and versatility of it. I have many different calibers that I load for. I wanted something that could do just about anything without buying extras to work. It's a flame annealing unit, single feed. I don't find single feed an issue as once you are going It's fast. I don't want to walk away from open flame.

I went with the Gen 1 AMP when they first came out. I then upgraded to the Gen 2 unit. I’ll never look back. Yes, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea because of the price. But I can’t flame anneal in my man cave (indoors and carpeted floor). That’s another reason why I chose an induction annealing set up. Also, as the OP said…buy once cry once.
I have about a half dozen “customers” that I anneal for. I charge $30 for each 100 cases. My only stipulation is that they are de-capped and wet tumbled. I also do that service for those who only dry tumble their brass. I would say that I’ve almost paid for half of the cost of the AMP by now.
Induction annealing with the AMP is very fast. I can do a hundred cases in about 10 minutes. It’s clean and for the most part, doesn’t stink. Although a slight smell of burnt metal does happen.
I tend to not comment about annealing anymore because it seems to stir the emotions of a lot of people. I just don’t get involved in that. I do what I do…you do what you do. And argue with someone else.
But I love mine and it does extend the life of brass. And more importantly, it gives more consistent neck tension. I anneal for 8 different calibers.
My 2 cents.

No, goodness, it wasn’t directed at anyone specific. Just past experience and seeing all sorts of emotions in threads involving annealing. Arguments were just one facet.

I've been salt bath annealing for years. Very affordable and seems to work well.

Propane torch, drill, dark room. In 444 I readjusted die for a heavier crimp because of tube magazine and a few bullets sinking into case.
22/250 and 300magnum with regular magazines I haven't noticed any difference.

Great way to dip a toe in the pool
This is a great annealer to dip your toe in the pool. I never annealed until I got one and my results have been excellent. I know its anecdotal but my SD went down 7-8 fps after using it. Anyway have a look this unit wont break the bank.

And for those that would like to know the (as-of 6/9/2024 @ Noon) conversion is $290 CAD.
$210 USD & free Intl' shipping doesn't really sound unreasonable... Thanks for the heads-up, looks decent !

Here is my litmus test.
Would I send my Lapua brass to someone to anneal with a torch?
Would I send my Lapua brass to someone to anneal with an AMP?

Torches were good enough for Eric Cortina... Think he switched to AMP though.
Everything he does is gospel, isn’t it ?

I have used torch's, drills, fancy Aluminum block holders, salt bath, not annealing, I now own a first gen AMP anneller. Wish I had saved the time and money and just bought one in the first place. Fast, precise, easy to use. And I don't have to guess if the brass has "cooked" long enough like other systems and I do it all with the lights on.

I purchased a burstfire 2 annealer from the USA. it is a flame type annealer but it also has a case prep station built into the top of the unit, clever and useful. uses standard threaded 8/32 case prep accessories from any manufacturer. good customer service but I wished our CDN currency didn't suck so hard.

Wasted a lot of time. I should have bought the AMP G2 years ago.
It truly is a masterpiece.

Nobody ever asked me to anneal their brass when I did it with a flame or molten salt. The do now that I have an AMP. lol
