The Millet fish and game club hosted a fun day of fishing for a group of handicapped individuals from the Horizons Center in Wetaskiwin last Thursday. We were blessed with good weather and happy people. A big shout out goes to Martin Motorsports for sponsoring us the use of one of their pontoon boats to use. It was a lifesaver. Another thank you to Fish and Wildlife for helping out with one of their boats and staff to make our day a success. It was so refreshing to see the smiles on all the individuals and how excited they were to get a chance to catch a fish. A lot of work went into this event and it turned out excellent.
