Default Black chronomid deadly add on.

Hi guys
A deadly add on to a black cronomid with a black bead is add in a tuft of white rabbit or white dubbin under the bead. I use rabbit as it compresses well and doesn't stop the bead from going over it.
HERE IS HOW I TIE IT ON.
I use 50 denier GEL SPUN tying thread. (Super fine and really strong)
I tie in at the centre of the hook to help stop build up near the eye. Wrap to the eye and tie in my rabbit. Trim off the extra rabbit. Trim the rabbit above the eye so just a tuft is sticking above the eye. The longer or bigger the hook, the longer the tuft of hair.
Wrap back to the centre of the hook and tie off.
Slip on the bead. Add glue as the gel spun is a little slippery and you aren't putting any more on the hook than neccessary to hold the hair. Finsh tying the fly.
On dark flies I also add 2 pieces of fine, pearl, crystal flash, cut short, for a tail.
Cheers
Bjay

IME flies (crony's)that are thin do better than thick. So a long shaft dry fly hook with one layer of blk thread.I don't taper them, whip finish behind bead just enough to hold it in place.
