A few years ago a good friend who had moved away took me for catfish when I visited him`. My first cast I caught a 15 pounder
This weekend he was able to come fish with me and I wanted to return the favour. Took a bit of fishing, but Saturday he was catching fish steady, 3 different species including his first dino, a long thin 41.5 incher.
Sunday we switched rivers, and even in the miserable weather we managed a couple fish, then he hooked into his second sturgeon of the trip. What a scrappy fatty, it was just out in front of us and came out like a rocket, so high even the tip of the tail cleared water!
it turned out to be a much fatter fish and measured at 54 inches, his biggest fish ever and I believe hes now hooked on dinos too
just a great weekend with a good friend and a lot of fish, Saturday at least
