First game against Dallas should be a good indicator of how the series will go. Dallas is a different team for sure. On paper they should steam roll the Oilers but you never know. Who ever thought Buster Douglas would beat Mike Tyson., not me.

Calgary rival, wasted multiple 1st round picks, wasting McDavid, GM is typically a goofball (Hall for Larsson, $9.25M for Nurse, $5M for Campbell, think you'll be paying James Neal and Brown $5M next season, etc.), and for every Ryan/Hyman/Nuge there is a Draisaitl/Kane/Perry....

lol The Flames management hasn’t exactly been stellar either. Sutter’s last go around cost them dearly when he drove off your star players and then they had buy him out as well. Then they panic signed Huberdidn’t. How much are they paying him and Kantri?

Vancouver played a very strange game. Any fan watching would probably fall off the couch screaming “Shoot the puck!” Speed wasn’t there. Shoot the pack in and roll, but no. 30 seconds left on the clock while trailing by one goal, but the guy hardly moves to get the pack, then waits for others to skate back. But yeah, with Skinner in the net, just shoot the freaking pack and it evetually go in.

Silovs made a couple of epic saves. Oilers played a good game, for the most part. Someone will get seriously hurt blocking all those shots though because there is no trust in the goaltender.

I understand there is a lot of oiler haters but you could say every team is waisting their players if that’s the bar you have set.

I feel that's a valid argument if you feel McDavid and, let's say Mangiapane, are equivalent.

I'd be impressed if you could name a better player that hadn't won a cup within 5 years of entering the league, let alone nine..... McDavid is far and away the best player to have ever played that hasn't won it. If you guys are good with Hart Trophy's, all the power to you!
