Rigging out the Kayaks!
Intermittent rainy weather, wind blowing and plus 6 for a high.
Perfect time to make some mods to the yaks!
As for fish finders we went with our portable hummingbird helix 5 and garmin striker4 which work out great sitting just in front of of the pedal drive.
Now just waiting for a break in the weather!!!

Ohh and forgot to mention a huge thank you to all on the forum that sent me PM’s about their kayak set ups etc.
Really reduced any issues. If anyone runs these types of kayaks and has issues let me know cuz we had a bunch of minor things that bugged us so I made adjustments to the yak by either after market parts or small things I did to make it more user friendly overall.

Got the radios but still unsure about the keel guards.
A little more research on my end is required.
Got the cart wheels too for places we gotta wheel the yaks down too but most of our local waters is drive right to the water.

Cat we almost never go to lakes, we fish the McLeod River pretty much exclusively.

Great yaks for sure, my wife had one for two years, super stable kayak and comfy too!
Fishing a river exclusively I might have considered the catch 120 which is probably the best bang for your buck all things considering.
I have to admit after my butt sat in my first kayak (2019) I really have no use for any other means of getting out on the water. Kayaks are all around a great way to enjoy a lake, pond or river.
