For sure! I guess since I don't carry a saw into the field I need the extra blade length.
I gutted a decent sized Muley buck for my buddies kid this year with a Kershaw folder and really struggled. I guess I'm just used to the longer blades. Kudos to the guys that can get it done with the short blades though!
