Default Anyone used Kwik Klips in their Rem 700

Is it reliable, noisy or what negatives do you see with it?

They aren't the greatest quality, but they function okay.

They are fine. In most cases the trigger guard has to be fitted . Sometimes for depth and sometimes for width in the magazine area. They do supply spacers if it is too deep for the stock . One doesn’t just push ammo straight down into the magazine , they are slid in from the front of the magazine .

I was gifted a REM 700 in 300 WinMag that had a Kwik klip setup. It limited my COAL so I removed it and reinstalled the drop floorplate assembly. Other than that it worked well.

I had two welded that were broken because they were not inletted into stock properly .
Mig'd up and some barbecue paint fixed them and glass bedding.

Pud installed one for me in the 90s for my first hunting rifle which was an ADL with no floor plate. It works ok but magazine doesn’t come out as easy as some of the factory detach magazines do.

I bought a used 280 Rem Mountain rifle with a Kwick clip some of my loads were too long, the first time I fired it fell out.
I could've done some work to make it fit properly it was sort of a tinny thing didn't want spend time fixing it I opted to replace it with a factory blind magazine.

I had one installed on my 700 BDL 7MM rem mag. It worked just fine.
The rifle was then stolen but I still have the 2 clips and they have a single shot BDL.
Anybody need a couple of long action qwik clips ?

Did some minor sanding to the inside of the stock on my BDL 270. Mines steel not sure if it’s made of something other than that now. It’s quite robust and have never had an issue.
