Mediator for divorce in Edmonton?

Hey everyone

So aside from walking away with nothing by choice all that is left is figuring out child support and alimony along with who covers what bills (kids braces, sports fees etc)

We want to avoid court if possible ans I heard you can get a mediator to help avoid court etc.

Any recommendations for Edmonton area?

I’d consider the free mediation service the government offers or just looking up child support on the maintenance enforcement website. They used to have a form that both parties can sign and register be done with it all without court. Of course I would search up the child support calculator online first to know how much should be paid.
And also, sorry to hear you walked away with nothing. Even if it was by choice. Still tough.

Speaking from experience?
Starting the fight can get costly and last many years from what I have read on here. Is it worth it?

Good advice. If for no other reason to have the ways & means to bail kids out when they need it. Last thing kids want to hear is I gave your (other parent) all the money. They blew the cash rediscovering themselves with the new partner, now I can't send you on the school trip.
