Default Tanning a deer hide

I am considering having a hide tanned.
What needs to be done to it prior to taking it to the tannery?
I skinned it sunday night, there is still lots of meat and fat on the skin. It has sat in a frozen shop since, spread out fur side down.
Should I have salted it, or fleshed it by now, or is the cold keeping it from going bad?
Should I do something different?
I was looking at having it finished with the hair on, so if my lack of prep is going to cause the hair to fall out, I'll just chuck it.

Roll it up, double or even triple bag it and ship it to Halfords in Edmonton. They say no salt but I used to salt mine.

No salt if frozen. Salt if you can't freeze.
