Great photos! That fly/wireworm looks like a death sentence to whites. I would be interested in buying few like that? Did you make it by yourself or somebody sells them?

Is that a brookie? Heck the back looked too tigery to me so that was what I was guessing. I even remarked to myself that the white edged fins are like a brook haha! Even a long time trout fisher can get confused hey? I blame age!

I make them myself. They are very easy to tie.

Hook. Red thread. Thin wire. Red tungsten bead. Nail polish it all and bam.

Excellent close up pics. Beautiful fish and colors. Sure looks like a few different Trout for sure. You are the catcher master. Now all I need to know is your exact location LOL Was it exactly in Alberta? HA HA Might need GPS and declination with pin point east west and north south way points. Nice catch MR.

Want to come fish just let me know.

Right now I’m casting a 26 foot leader and fishing a corkie. Come Fall the boatmen will be migrating back and we can catch lots.

Otherwise if you want to slay perch… I know where there is lots.

So what does a middle aged man say when he goes up to the cash register with a bottle of nail polish?

I think I'd be compelled to explain myself ..... although, now days, everything is inclusive right?
