If someone dies are the RCMP even notified?
Around 2010 I was asked by a family to look at some guns left behind, the rifles and one pistol (registered) were sent to a dealer for sale, another was a S&W 38 snubnose he carried as a store owner in the 50's it had a certificate of ownership from the 60's that was never updated. The snubby was turned in and deactivated to be kept by the family as a memento, the weird part is the person had passed away in the 70's nobody ever contacted them.
