There was a country a couple years ago that had a forced buy back requiring citizens to bring their guns in, very few did.. and nothing further happened. I csan't recall the country though..

unfortunately for us, Truduea is much much much more stupid, stuborn and persistant.. He'd like call another emergencies act and send the army to our houses.

I don’t think they wanted the emergency act passed just for the convoy. They were desperately trying to connect firearms to the convoy and the blockades. If the emergency act had passed it my still be in effect now. How about turn in your handguns and we will unfreeze your bank accounts.

You are correct, when he first tried to take power with the EMA at the beginning of coronavirus he mentioned things like suicide and firearms. Possibly removing firearms to prevent rash acts. The Premiers wouldn't let him.

His second run during the protests he tried to keep tieing firearms to the protests.
They kinda finally did with the Southern Ab arrests for threats against Police. The news papers indicated these guys said they would shoot Police if they used force agaisnt the protesters.

He tried hard to link it all together, thankfully the truth kinda came out about these guys in SA being linked to another group the Police have been monitoring.

Make no mistake when he gets a chance he will seize our firearms.

To be honest, no one truly know the future of gun owners in this country. Like its been said, own whatever you can own and enjoy them while you can.

the lieberals did a dry run earlier this year with the truckers, comply with the order or have your bank account frozen or confiscated. anything registered is a ticking time bomb and the government is most definitely authoritarian and transitioning to a dictatorship. in the interest of the greater good, of course.
