No, you are not wrong. These are deliberate and misleading pics. The only way would have been to ask for clearer and close up pictures. Yet as mentioned, the seller had a good trader rating and stated mint. So I can understand why you didn't ask.

He intentionally hosed you. Publish his name here so none of us get the same. Hope you filed a negative review. The worst a seller can file on a buyer in retaliation is neutral. IF he files anything else get hold of a mod.

I had this happen on CGN a few years back. Good long term seller, nearly 1000 postive reviews, went really bad. They eventually punted him completely, but that would not of happened without me and others filing negative reviews and complaining to the mods.

I did a negative review on him, he did neutral on me.
]Handle on CGN is jasdeep
I tried to talk with him to get a refund, or at least some money back, he told me to pound sand, wanted me to text him instead of PM on CGN, most likely so the mods could not read it if needed.
He told me it was next to new, and could not see that the undisclosed damage was a big deal, and what was I expecting from a used gun.
To which I responded "are you bloody kidding me???"
You described it as mint and next to new, that should mean there is not a mark on it.

The neutral review he left for you "He left me a negative review for no reason, not sure why though."

What a piece of work.

Misleading pics for sure.
Sometimes I can't seem to get a pic of a scratch or ding, but I for sure let someone know it's there, but I can't get a pic of it.

On the plus side you did get an 8 mag and you didn’t lose all your money. Still not satisfying feeling you were taken though . Better luck next time .

Pictures look like they came from the new Batman movie they're so dark. Sorry you got scammed.
