For those with some experience boating on the NSR (particularly around Edmonton and Ft. Sask), just wondering if there is a consensus for the best anchor type/ setup?
I've seen the following style of anchor on some jet boats running the NSR:
Here is another river anchor that seems popular (the arms bend to avoid getting stuck and also gives you the option of changing the angle when pulling up:
I see the drift boat guys seem to like the pyramid type.
I've seen some hype on a product called the tornado anchor system. A bit pricey, but I'm sure a guy could easily fabricate one.
The boat it's to be attached to is a 14' inflatable.
Any advice or experience is welcome!
