Default Is anyone making OAL modified cases?

Hi there!

Looking for some assistance.

I am a reloader and I use the Hornady lock n load OAL gauge. I would like to thread one of my fired cases for use in the gauge. Has anyone done this before? I've read some DIY posts on this before but I don't have a lathe or a drill press.

If there's anyone that has the equipment and has done this before could I possibly mail you a few cases? I will pay what is fair for the service or pay with brass if you're interested. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Extremely easy to make. 5/16 x 36 tap and a drill bit. Simple to do even in a vise. No need for a lathe.

I tried making one with a 300 SAUM case and it worked but wasn’t perfectly square. I’d rather find someone with the proper set up to do so, I know you can mail your cases to hornady and they will make them.

P&D in Edmonton will do one. Just send them a fire formed case. I needed one in a rush a while back, and they did it while I waited.
