Default Sierra Gamechangers

Anybody been using these on game? Sierra Gamechanger, aka Tipped Game King.

I've loaded some of the 6.5mm 130gr with good results. I've only shot them on paper and the results are good enough that I'm considering trying out the 277 or 308 diameter bullets next season.

Do they hold together if they hit the shoulder? How's their performance on bigger game such as moose or elk?

Thanks in advance.

They look like they have a thicker mid section than a berger or a eldm

Sierra gamekings have always been a good bullet, can't see why these wouldn't also be a good bullet.

I thought the gamechanger was a tipped matchking....Any ways the gamekings are a good cup and core bullet. And the matchkings are phenomenal target bullets.

The Game Changer is more like a tipped Game King,, but the profile and jacket thickness have been changed according to what II have read.

I'd try them but they are not yet offered in a weight or a calibre that I want them in.

The TMK is a tipped Matchking, the Gamechanger is a tipped Gameking.

Yah I looked it up...looks like I've been a bit behind the times with sierras offerings. I used to shoot 155 Palma mk by the box full in the old 308 and used 70-80 gr 6mm for LR coyote killing. And tried out a box or two of the old game kings in a 30-06 with good results. I have been load ing Sierra 55gr .224 cal in my 22-250 for coyotes and they have a green tip but don't recal the exact designation...Sierra bullets have been harder to get local here the last few years...every time I visit the LGS the guys says " a big order is supposed to be coming in some time...." I feel like this has been going on for years now lol. Stopped holding my breath while back
